A Danish seafarer has died after slipping from a bunker tanker in Copenhagen.

The unnamed man fell from the 3,500–dwt OW Copenhagen (built 2006) while boarding the vessel on 1 February, local media said.
A search party found him after 45 minutes and he was taken to hospital where his death was confirmed.
A statement on behalf of shipowner OW Bunker of Denmark said: "A tragic incident occurred resulting in the fatality of a crewman from OW Bunker whilst on a launch vessel of a third party supplier in Copenhagen.
"A thorough investigation is currently underway and we cannot comment any further until this process is concluded."
