Amur snaps up Sovgavan

Amur Shipping of Russia has bought the Sovgavan terminal in Okocha Bay.

The facility can handle 500,000 tons of bulk cargo annually.

But this will be increased to 800,000 tons in the future.

Amur is planning to acquire three cargoships to operate in the region as a result.

The Sovgavan terminal is in the process of acquiring a license for coal handling.
