DNV Appoints new Regional Manager for Maritime and Offshore Americas
DNV has appointed Kenneth Vareide as the new regional manager responsible for maritime and offshore class operations in North and South America.
Since starting his career in DNV as a structural approval engineer, Mr Vareide has served in different capacities in Houston, London, Korea and Norway and has been responsible for providing technical, advisory and consulting services related to maritime and offshore applications. He is a graduate of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and MIT Sloan/Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, and holds two Master’s degrees in Naval Architecture and Technology Management respectively.
